Universitas Trunojoyo Madura is currently the only state university in Madura. Madura is the name of an island located in the northeast of East Java, indonesia and it is known well as the salt island because Madura becomes a national salt supplier for Indonesia.

This island also has the longest bridge in the sutheast asia which connects madura island to surabaya or java.

And Madura has beautiful places such as beach, mountain , farms. and also has several unique cultures, cool weather and friendly people.

Universitas Trunojoyo Madura is a change of univ Bangkalan, Which is founded by kiayi lemah dhuwur bangkalan in 1981.
In 2001, the president abdurrhman Wachid change unibang to become the first state university in Madura and changed its name to Universitas Trunojoyo Madura.

Universitas Trunojoyo Madura Students are currently from across the country from Sabang to Merauke who studies in diploma and sarjana degree.

Universitas Trunojoyo Madura has 7 faculties , supporting facilities for students in learning , and many others :)
